Quiet (except birdsong) in location deep in countryside up steep winding roads. House is owned by Famous Dutch/German retail family. Interior is rustic and has not been updated in many years ( 1980s). There is a guardian on site and daily maid price. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance. Limited facilities 10-15 minutes drive down the hill.
Location. Silence. Fireflies some nights in the garden.
All beds are single. The decor is dated with water marks in some rooms. The kitchen is very poorly appointed and there was no oil, condiments and seasonings, stove top coffee maker, pasta maker, rolling pin and old odd pots and pans. The dishwasher is for a bar not a house so doesn't wash dishes and instructions are poor. There are no fruit trees in the garden and only sage, rosmarino and oregano in the garden. We were charged 50cents for a local call to book a restaurant. The whole experience was of meanness.
